About The Position

Works individually or in small groups with students under the direct supervision and in close proximity of a certified teacher providing intervention support in reading, language arts, and math for the after school tutoring program

Requirements

• College degree, completion of 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university or successful completion of the Para-Pro examination.
• Ability to follow directions
• Work as a team with staff and students
• Display mature and professional judgment when dealing with students and adults

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in working with children in a primary school environment is desirable.
• Individuals with previous experience working in a school setting will be given priority.
