About The Position

Do you love working with children and sparking their creativity? Our After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) provides a vibrant, fun, and safe space for preschool through grade 5 students to explore, learn, and play after school. Serving over 150 students daily, our program offers theme-based activities that keep young minds engaged and imaginations soaring. As an ASEP Teacher, you’ll be a key part of this energetic environment, helping students feel supported, safe, and inspired every day.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
Previous experience working with children (school, camp, childcare, or related setting).
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping kids thrive.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Background or coursework in education, child development, or a related field.
Experience leading group activities for children.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming, nurturing, and engaging space for students after school.
Lead and support fun, age-appropriate activities that foster learning and creativity.
Ensure the well-being and safety of all children, following our school’s health and safety policies.
Assist with attendance, dismissal, and other daily routines.
Collaborate with the ASEP team to plan and deliver an exciting curriculum that changes with themes.
Support positive student behavior and communicate effectively with program leadership.
Help maintain and care for program spaces, materials, and school facilities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to continue growing your skills.
Pitch in with other duties as needed, because teamwork is at the heart of what we do.
