After-school Teacher After-school teachers are responsible for the education and care of children in an after-school program. Their duties include developing a comprehensive curriculum and planning daily activities. They also interact with parents and other staff members to create a safe and fun learning environment for children. Ensure the health, safety and well-being of children in the program by providing close supervision of children during all activities. Promote exploration, creativity, and discovery and stimulate each child’s individual development. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Work cooperatively with other teachers Preparing materials and maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment.
