About The Position

The position involves facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum. Each session is designed to be high-energy, combining entertainment and education in a hands-on class format. The program meets for one hour each week for a duration of 8-10 weeks, providing an engaging learning experience for young children. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching and have a passion for science.

Requirements

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children (preferred).
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Must have a reliable car.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).
• Some college education.
• Have a fun & outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
• Conducting high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on classes that meet for one hour each week for 8-10 weeks.
