The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports. PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life. Requirements

Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, teach PPA Life values.
Someone who will Coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable experience for our athletes.
Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA Staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents.
Someone who will be a team player and not hesitate to help out where needed throughout the season.
THIS JOB REQUIRES IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE TO PROGRAMMING IN WASHINGTON, DC, AND/OR BETHESDA, MD. If you will be relocating to this area, please note that in your application, to ensure you are not overlooked based on location.

Responsibilities

Lead 1-4 after-school youth sports clinics with a local school partnered with PPA (1-1.5 hours each)
Positions open for soccer and basketball
Assist kids and school staff with the dismissal process
Send weekly communications to the parents of the kids in the program
