About The Position

The After School Specialist 2 plays a key role in providing specialized expertise and oversight in a specific area at the campus level. The Specialist 2, After School Programs collaborates with campus administrators to support after-school program activities. The Specialist 2 implements systems during the after-school hours to ensure the program operates efficiently and with fidelity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or advanced degrees may be preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role or field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise and support in a specific area, offering guidance and recommendations to administrators, teachers, and contracted service providers.
Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and evaluation of data, trends, and industry best practices to support decision-making processes.
Develop and implement strategies, programs, and initiatives to address specific campus- level needs and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, workshops, or educational materials related to the after-school program.
Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the success of initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate the implementation of changes.
Assist in the management and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Provide expertise in using relevant software applications, tools, and systems to optimize data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
