About The Position

The After School Specialist 2 plays a key role in providing specialized expertise and oversight in a specific area at the campus level. The Specialist 2, After School Programs collaborates with campus administrators to support after-school program activities. The Specialist 2 implements systems during the after-school hours to ensure the program operates efficiently and with fidelity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or advanced degrees may be preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role or field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and support in a specific area, offering guidance and recommendations to administrators, teachers, and contracted service providers.
  • Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and evaluation of data, trends, and industry best practices to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies, programs, and initiatives to address specific campus- level needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, workshops, or educational materials related to the after-school program.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the success of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate the implementation of changes.
  • Assist in the management and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide expertise in using relevant software applications, tools, and systems to optimize data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in the assigned area of expertise.
  • Act as a resource person and provide training and guidance to after-school team members as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
