About The Position
Delightful family in Olivette seeks a responsible caregiver who can provide afternoon care Monday through Friday and transportation using the family’s vehicle from school in Clayton to their home.. Shift hours would be 2:30pm-6:30pm. The family desires a caring and fun sitter who could help with homework for the 7 and 10 year olds and ideally they would like to find a sitter who is interested in remaining with the family long term.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable driving family’s vehicle and transporting children.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid drivers license with regular access to a vehicle and ability to transport children in said vehicle as needed.
- Must consent to a background screening.
Responsibilities
- Transportation from school
- Driving of family vehicle
- Homework direction
- Care for children at home
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care during transportation and at home
- Snacks after school
- Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun
- Get to know a family and develop a relationship with the children and parents over time
