About The Position
As the After School Site Director at AlphaBEST Education, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team dedicated to providing enriching after-school experiences for students. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering creativity, intellectual curiosity, and a sense of adventure among school-aged children. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the after-school program, ensuring that each child feels valued and engaged in a safe and nurturing environment. Your leadership will inspire Guides to deliver exciting activities in various areas such as fitness, arts, and technology, creating a vibrant atmosphere where students can explore their interests and talents. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site. This includes training and mentoring AlphaBEST Guides, establishing clubs that cater to students' interests, and fostering positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school community. Your ability to create a caring, family-oriented environment will be essential in promoting a culture of respect and support within the program. The position requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday afternoons, from 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of students during their after-school hours.
