About The Position

This position involves facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum. Each session is designed to be high-energy, combining entertainment and education in a hands-on class format that meets for one hour each week for a duration of 8-10 weeks. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching young children the art of science. There may also be occasional daytime programming opportunities if your availability allows. This is part-time work that is rewarding and can fit well with your schedule and lifestyle.

Requirements

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children (preferred).
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Must have reliable transportation that is not public or ride share.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).
• Some college education is preferred.
• Have a fun & outgoing personality.

Responsibilities
