About The Position

Become an After School Educator with HOKALI! Are you ready to turn your passion for Chess and Art into purpose? HOKALI, a Y Combinator–backed leader in after-school programs, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Chess and Drawing/Painting Instructors to join our community in Austin, TX. We partner with over 200 schools across the U.S., creating enriching after-school experiences that help students grow, explore new interests, and build confidence. What you’ll do: Lead engaging and educational Chess and/or Drawing & Painting after-school classes Create a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-confidence in students Contribute to meaningful programs that make a real impact We’re actively seeking instructors with experience in: Chess Art: Drawing & Painting Program Details: Location: Austin Montessori School Schedule: Drawing & Painting: Mondays, 3:15–4:30 PM Chess: Thursdays, 3:15–4:30 PM Pay rate: $50 per hour Program is subject to student enrollment

Requirements

Experience working with children in after-school or educational settings (Required)
Availability Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:30 PM (Required)
Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX

Nice To Haves

Background in education, art, chess instruction, or related fields (Preferred)

Responsibilities
