As a member of the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) After-School Programming team, the incumbent will work with contracted and community partner providers to 1) launch Girl Scouts After-School Clubs that are facilitated by after-school partner program staff and/or Girl Scouts staff and 2) support existing After-School Clubs to expand participation options for girls and families throughout the council. Maintain partnerships with expanded learning staff at host sites through regular communication, resource sharing, program visits, and participation in after-school and weekend events. Work with expanded learning staff at host sites to educate families about Girl Scouts and register girls in After-School Clubs in the Fall. Facilitate Girl Scouts in after-school programs at sites with new leaders (where start-up support is needed) and/or where Girl Scouts is the contracted supplemental enrichment provider. Execute after school program contracts with support from the Director of After-School Programming and in partnership with host sites, community-based partners and the district as needed. Schedule and manage all logistics related to cookie program participation at multiple school sites (up to 50 or more), including delivering cookie program resources, partnering with Product Program team to deliver and track cookie inventory accurately, reconciling pre-sale and booth cash and credit card payments, and ensuring other staff supporting booth sales have the resources they need during cookie season. In collaboration with the program team, schedule Girl Scouts STEM Mobile and Classroom visits to partner sites. May also be asked to be trained to drive the STEM Mobile to partner sites when the primary driver is not available. Deliver Girl Scouts resources and materials to multiple school sites throughout the year as needed. Purchase and maintain supplies for facilitators delivering programming at sites where Girl Scouts is the contracted supplemental enrichment provider. Partner with program team to provide additional council-sponsored participation opportunities for girls in after-school programs. Provide training to after-school providers to deliver Girl Scouts programming. In collaboration with program staff, assist in developing innovative programs that reach underserved, unserved, underrepresented populations. Use innovative approaches to make Girl Scouts more accessible to immigrant and non-English speaking communities, e.g. planning and delivering activities that enhance visibility and build trust in traditionally underserved communities. Table at relevant school- and community-based events, etc. to raise awareness about the benefits of Girl Scouts programming. Maintain accurate recordkeeping, contacts, analysis and reporting to improve efficiency and maintain historical record of all program-related activities and partner stewardship. Work with existing partners to provide fresh and relevant curriculum to meet the needs of girls. Use Salesforce to track partnership activity. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure high client satisfaction, increase partner retention rates and measure program effectiveness. Ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scout message of antiracism and diversity to community groups, organizations and other constituencies within the council’s 18 counties. Support program and fund development via grant delivery and reporting. Partner with Volunteer Engagement team to identify volunteers to deliver specialized workshops in after-school settings. Perform other duties as assigned.
