After School Program Staff Position (2025-2026)
About The Position
Key School is seeking After School Program staff for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will have experience and enjoy working with pre-school and school-aged students, ably work collaboratively and have availability during after school hours, 3pm to 6pm Monday through Friday. This position begins Thursday, August 21 through Thursday, June 4, 2026. Reporting to the Director of Before and After School Programs, staff members will provide care and oversight to students, including a daily snack as well as indoor and outdoor play, and as appropriate, provide homework support. Staff will also plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities in collaboration with other team members, maintain health and safety standards to promote high quality care and support each child’s developmental needs. Staff members are expected to effectively communicate with students, families and colleagues.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Maintain a current First Aid/CPR certification
- Participate annually in required CEU training approved by the MSDE Office of Child Care
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience working with students, particularly those who are pre-school or elementary school aged.
- Demonstrates cultural competency in both classroom practice and interactions with students and colleagues
- Flexible and able to accept schedule changes as needed.
- Experience working with others on a professional team.
