About The Position
After School Program staff will be responsible in working with after school program and involving with student learning activities and experience, including organizing and conducting classes, tutoring, program activities and events, coaching variety of sports, and monitoring and supervising students. Work effectively with students in after school activities and assist with behavior management, discipline, interpersonal actions and act as a role model.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of young children (Preschool to 5th grade)
- Familiarity of recreational activities and student discipline
- Fluency in ASL
Nice To Haves
- A background in education and/or college course in recreation is highly recommended
- Camp counselor and/or child care work experience – recommended
