Provide safe environment for learning Implement Curriculum for a variety of enrichment classes Establish good rapport with parents and participants Being a positive role model for youth in the program Collaborate with volunteers to lead delegation Transport equipment to and from school sites
Requirements
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Availability Mon-Thursday between 2:30-5:30pm
- Possess (or obtain within 90 days) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
- Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate management techniques
- Must have reliable transportation
