About The Position

A family in Orland Park is looking for a part-time, after school nanny for their two young children, ages 3.5 and 1.5. The nanny will be responsible for picking both children up from their respective school/daycare and transporting them back to the family’s townhome. Desired schedule is Monday-Thursday 4-7pm, with some flexibility for Fridays if needed. The ideal candidate is prompt, reliable, and organized, as both parents are attorneys with demanding schedules. The family is hoping to find someone who is upbeat, energetic, and enjoys engaging with young children through play, exploration, and learning opportunities. Someone with a teaching mindset who can guide the children with positive redirection and patience would be a great fit. The nanny also needs to be able to lift the younger child, who is currently 30 lbs. Spanish speaking is not required, but it is a plus, as mom is fluent and the 3-year-old is currently learning Spanish. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle are required for this position.
