About The Position

At Eager Enrichment , we have been inspiring young minds since 2008 through high-quality, hands-on after-school programs. We are seeking an energetic and experienced after-school instructor to join our team!  Eager Enrichment provides you with all the supplies, training, and curriculum to help you create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, loves working with Kindergarteners, and has a passion for Art and Legos! We have 2 classes in Avon. Wednesday is Art, using Watercolors, Clay, Collages, Oil Pastels and Markers; Thursday's class is Eager Engineers, building with Blocs and Duplos. Candidates who can teach both classes are invited to apply. Class size is limited to 15 for greater individual attention to students. This is part time, afternoon work. Classes run at an elementary school, after school, for one hour, once a day .  If you are looking for more than 2 hours a week, this job is not for you. Classes begin in January and go through May, with school holidays like President's Day and Spring Break off. Locations & Times Our Avon Position Eager Artists: Wednesdays 3:30pm-4:45pm Eager Engineers: Thursdays 3:30pm-4:45pm What We Provide: We supply everything you need-including Legos, blocs, art supplies like oil pastels, clay, watercolors, and any take home project materials- so you can focus on teaching. You'll receive training in our award-winning, proven education method, along with weekly project videos to guide each lesson. Projects are fresh and never repeated, keeping things exciting for both you and your students! We're proud to be a high-profile, top-tier enrichment program. Our ideal candidate is someone who: Is working toward or holds a college degree Has 1-2+ years of experience working with children Has a genuine love of Legos and building. Has a love of art, including watercolors, oil pastels, collages and clay Enjoys working with Kindergartners Available Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm. Thinking about a future in education?
