About The Position

As a After School Instructor TACOMA, your primary role will be to lead Snapology programs 2–4 days per week after school. You’ll guide students through fun, educational activities that build confidence and real-world STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills. Requirements

• Must pass a background check and obtain necessary child clearances
• 2+ years of experience working with children (teaching, camps, etc.)
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Positive attitude and consistent availability

Nice To Haves

• Education or teaching experience is a plus—but not required!

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 20 students through fun, hands-on lessons
• Keep kids engaged and excited about learning
• Set clear expectations and create a positive classroom culture
• Prepare for classes by reviewing curriculum and training materials
• Represent Snapology with professionalism when interacting with parents and partners
• Encourage future program enrollment with enthusiastic communication
• Attend occasional training and team meetings
