About The Position

AlphaBEST Education offers extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader Assistant, you'll help shape meaningful after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must pass a Background Screening and Central Registry check
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
