About The Position

Primrose Schools is a leading early education provider that offers a balanced learning approach, nurturing curiosity and creativity in a safe and engaging environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable After School Explorer Teacher/Part-Time Bus Driver to join our team and help provide a fun, educational, and safe experience for our students.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other designated locations.
Ensure the bus is maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with students, parents, and staff.
Be available full days when LCPS is closed for holidays and closures
Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for school-age children.
Supervise students to ensure a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
Assist with homework and encourage creative and critical thinking.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavior.
Promote Primrose's Balanced Learning curriculum and foster a love for learning.
