Requirements
- Experience working with school-age children (ages 4–10) in a school or after-school setting.
- Confidence to manage a classroom with support from the Fullerton program team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and staff.
- Skills to assess and address challenges associated with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to create a fun, caring, and responsive learning environment.
Nice To Haves
- ASL skills are a plus — premium hourly rates available where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities and weekly lesson plans as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children enrolled in the program.
- Help maintain routines, follow schedules, and create a positive learning environment.
- Assist students with homework and enrichment activities.
- Bring enthusiasm, patience, and teaching skills to engage and retain students.
