The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is looking for an After School Driver to provide safe transportation to and from program sites while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Excellent human relation skills and enthusiasm.
- Basic math skills and demonstrated recordkeeping proficiency.
- An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Successfully complete within 60 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/O2 Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Child Abuse Prevention
Responsibilities
- Connect: Have a warm, engaging, and friendly demeanor with a willingness to foster positivity among staff, volunteers, parents, and children.
- Deliver: Actively engage with and provide safe transportation for program participants to deliver quality YMCA experience.
- Lead: Follow all safety standards and report issues to the Program Director and/or Executive Director, as needed.
