Trinity is currently hiring a part-time After School Counselor, within our ASCARE (After School Care) Program. Responsible for ensuring appropriate care, supervision, and guidance to the children in the childcare program. Staff members help provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Staff members act as positive role models and help establish positive relationships with participants and their families.

Requirements

School-Age Child Care Credential or other office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period and one year experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
A valid New York State driver's license & able to transport children.
Basic computer skills.
Must pass criminal background check and medical clearance.
Must be able to participate in required training and staff development, must be reliable, consistent, and punctual.
Associates degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field.
High School diploma or its equivalent and Two years direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
