About The Position
After School Childcare- Group Leader, Part-time AlphaBEST: After School is where adventure begins! At AlphaBEST, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training. Location: Lawrence Elementary, Arvada, CO. Schedule: No weekends! Tuesday-Friday preferred, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Monday is full-day care- schedule to be discussed) Here's what you'll need:
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+) and be 18+ years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
- Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours)
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of student explorers through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment that fosters positive staff, child, and parent relationships.
