The Learning Experience – Sterling is seeking a dependable and safety-focused After School Bus Driver to transport children from local elementary schools to our center each afternoon. This position is ideal for someone looking for a short, consistent weekday shift with a supportive childcare team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Clean driving record for the past 5 years (DMV check required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
• Ability to meet all Virginia childcare background requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience driving children preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-aged children from designated schools to our center
• Follow established pickup routes and schedules
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before and after each route
• Ensure children are secured properly and follow safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
• Communicate professionally with school staff, families, and center leadership
• Follow all Virginia transportation and childcare licensing regulations
