About The Position

St. Andrew Catholic School is seeking an After School Assistant. This is a
non-instructional position for the school year. This part-time position requires
approximately 15 hours per week in the afternoon. As an aftercare assistant, you
will assist in the supervision of students in grades Pk3-8 in the school's
aftercare program.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Maintain a calm nature in a sometimes-chaotic environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during all after-school activities.
• Ability to work with various age/grade groups.
• Aids students with homework.
• Implements age-appropriate activities.
• Monitors safety for students always.
• Accompanies younger students to the restroom.
• Maintains discipline and decorum.
• Maintains a clean and organized classroom.
• Other duties as assigned.
