About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking compassionate After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurses. The organization prioritizes work/life balance and is committed to providing high-quality care to patients and their families. As an After-Hours Hospice RN, you will advocate for patients, communicate with all parties involved in the care plan (patient, family, hospice team), and ensure patients receive quality care. This is a salaried full-time position covering on-call after-hours from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM. RNs are supported by a 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department and local hospice teams. Requirements

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting
Reliable transportation
Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively

Responsibilities

Be a voice for your patients
Communicate with everyone involved in the plan of care-the patient, the patient’s family, and the hospice care team
Serve as the patient advocate being able to ensure every patient receives the quality care they deserve
Cover on call after hours from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday morning
