About The Position

Safe at Home is a backup childcare program proudly serving employees of Ford Motor Company, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Bright Horizons. We provide high-quality, reliable, in-home child care when families need it most — and our Coordinators play a vital role in making that happen. As an After Hours Coordinator, you’ll ensure caregivers and families are supported with empathy, professionalism, and timely communication. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that’s perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a structured yet flexible environment, and values meaningful, family-centered work. Safe at Home is a division of Kennedy Care, a Michigan-based family care organization that provides high-quality, compassionate care to children, adults, and families across the state. We believe in caring for our employees the same way we care for our clients. Kennedy Care is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment. We expect every member of the Kennedy Care family to do their part to cultivate and maintain an environment where everyone has the opportunity to feel included, and is afforded the respect and dignity they deserve. Decisions related to hiring, compensating, training, evaluating performance, or terminating are made fairly, and we provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates and employees. We examine our unconscious biases and take responsibility for always striving to create an inclusive environment that makes every employee and candidate feel welcome.
