About The Position

Position Summary: Bennett Day School is seeking motivated and creative AfterCare Counselors for the upcoming School Year. The position is responsible for leading students in freeplay,crafts, homework, snack, and gym games. Other daily responsibilities include communicating with parents during drop-off and pickup, supervising safety and supporting the Auxiliary Programs Director with activity planning. This flexible position with part-time hours.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in early childhood, middle school, or high school
• Hours are M-F from 2-6 p.m., with some flexibility.
• Enthusiasm for educating!
• AfterCare counselors are encouraged to share their own hobbies and interests with students.
• Team player able to collaborate with other AfterCare counselors
• Must submit a health history record and examination form prior to the first day of work.
• Must submit any required onboarding paperwork prior to the first day or work.
• Must be able to pass DCFS Background Check
• Ability to interact with all age levels.
