About The Position
The AFO Consultant position at Dean Dorton is a full-time role focused on providing accounting and advisory services specifically tailored for Family Office Services. Located in either Lexington or Louisville, KY, this position is part of the Accounting and Financial Outsourcing (AFO) Services team, which is one of the largest regional full-service accounting and business advisory firms in Kentucky. The role is designed for individuals who are looking for a challenging yet rewarding career that emphasizes lifelong learning and professional development. In this position, you will be responsible for partnering with clients and collaborating with your Dean Dorton team to deliver essential accounting support to family office groups across the country. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, optimizing software solutions, preparing financial statements, customizing reports, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, you will be involved in managing fixed and investment assets, loan and lease debt, conducting general ledger reviews, and preparing supplemental financial and tax reports.
