About The Position
OC Community Resources, OC Housing & Community Development is seeking a candidate with strong project management skills and experience that can be applied to managing complex development projects and affordable housing-related programs. The Affordable Housing Development Analyst (Community Development Analyst) is a pivotal, non-supervisory management position, with a high degree of responsibility to ensure that all available County and private resources are used efficiently and effectively to create viable affordable housing opportunities. This position reports to the Housing Development Manager as a key member of a small and interactive professional team. This position is also required to be able to be self-motivated, independently operate, and take initiative in order to complete multiple competing tasks. This position helps to plan, review, analyze, and develop funding recommendations and policies for a wide variety of affordable and supportive housing developments. Under direction, this position supports the administration of the County funding and resources for affordable housing projects and programs. This includes working with developers, lenders, public agencies, and County of Orange departments and commissions, through all stages of development from funding application through construction completion.
