About The Position

The Division of Physical Therapy is looking for an affiliate faculty member to teach in the entry-level campus-based DPT program beginning Summer 2026. This position includes acting as a part of a faculty team in lab sessions and individual content lectures.

Requirements

• Licensed physical therapist in state that the faculty member practices in
• Graduate PT degree

• DPT and specialty certification or fellowship training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within lecture and/or lab settings within entry-level DPT education.
• Evaluate student assignments, laboratory competencies, applied skill assessments, and examinations in a timely and consistent manner, providing clear, constructive, and professional feedback that supports student learning and development.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment that promotes critical thinking, ethical practice, cultural humility, and professional identity formation.
• Collaborate with the course coordinator and other ranked faculty to ensure curricular consistency, quality assurance, and continuous improvement aligned with CAPTE standards.

Benefits

• This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
