About The Position
The AFCAP V OCN/LN Kuwait: Escort position at KBR involves providing essential observation services to support the Security Escort Program for the United States Air Force. This role is critical in ensuring operations continuity during personnel rotations for Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) contractors at various site locations, including Kuwait, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The Escort will work under the general oversight of the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager, integrating with the unit to maintain security and operational effectiveness. The Escort is responsible for monitoring un-cleared personnel entering secure areas, logging their entry and exit, and ensuring compliance with local base escorting policies. This includes counting personnel and vehicles, monitoring work activities until completion, and ensuring that no prohibited items are brought onto the base. The role requires effective communication skills to deescalate issues and maintain a professional environment. The Escort will utilize various communication devices and may need to drive company vehicles on and off base. Physical demands of the job include lifting, climbing, and extended periods of sitting or standing. The Escort must also be prepared to wear personal protective equipment as required. The position requires a high school diploma, U.S. citizenship, and an active DoD Secret Clearance, along with effective problem-solving abilities and communication skills. Previous military experience and supervisory experience are preferred qualifications for candidates.
