About The Position

The AF Solutions Clinical Specialist at Boston Scientific is responsible for promoting and supporting the Watchman product line by educating current and potential customers within a defined territory. This role involves providing clinical education, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve sales goals and enhance the Watchman brand in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation is desired.
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude and ability to discuss complex technical product information.
  • MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Meets with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can assist them.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints by developing creative solutions or collaborating with other personnel.
  • Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Demonstrates effective change leadership and builds strategic partnerships across the organization.
  • Assists management in recruiting and coaching organizational talent.
  • Implements and monitors strategies outlined by the quarterly plan of action for the area.
  • Coordinates territory efforts with BSC sales management to build strategic partnerships.
  • Develops relationships with key referring physicians to promote market development and growth.
  • Works with sales management to identify strategic initiatives that improve effectiveness.
  • May require on-call duties to support coverage.
  • Trains on and maintains knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance regulations.
  • Manages clinical trial activity within the assigned territory, including Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.
  • Educates clinical investigators on clinical trial protocols and investigational products.
