About The Position

Description
Essential Functions
Evaluates patient for facials, microdermabrasion.
Performs facials, microdermabrasion according to set protocols
Provides pre- and post-op patient teaching and does patient follow-up care, as directed by the physician.
Greets, discharges and follows up with all clients according to spa standards.
Monitors, restocks, and balances cosmeceutical inventory according to Clinic policy.
Participates in both internal and external marketing activities to maximize personal productivity.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of retail products, and advises patients appropriately.
Any other duties as assigned by manager.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Exposed to multiple topical solutions containing a variety of interactive chemicals. Exposed to patients with open wounds and/or other skin lesions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must have adequate vision, gross and fine motor skills to perform intricate patient care activities with complete accuracy.
Must have mathematical abilities adequate to calculate dosages, retail sales and taxes, and balancing inventory.
Must have excellent fine motor skills, as described above.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position other than occasional travel to corporate sites regarding employee relations issues.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma, or GED.
• Experience: Experience or training in ambulatory health care facility. Completion of an Aesthetician Program, or two (2) years may be equivalent.
• Licensed in the State of Florida as an Aesthetician.
• CPR certification to be completed within three (3) months of employment.
