About The Position

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health Position: Aesthetician Status: Full Time- Monday - Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Department: Dermatology Location: 3820 Northdale Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33624 Job Summary: Performs cosmetic treatments and managesthe medicalrecord functions in the department. Assist with front desk responsibilties such as checking in and scheduling patient appointments. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Cosmetology license issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Strong team player
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Above average attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Performs cosmetic treatments/procedures - Assemblesrequired paperwork and obtains consents - Performs microdermabrasion - Performs peels - Performs facials
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments and medical equipment for cosmetics
  • Scans all medicalrecord documentation into IEHR utilizing company approved cataloguing system - Scans incoming medicalrecords, daily work, and paper charts into IEHR - Creates an imaging task as needed - Reportsscanning errors following company approved process
  • Reviews schedule for next day to make sure all labs/paths/progress notes are received by appointment time.
  • Answers phones and assists callers - Makes appointments - Takes messages - Assists with medication refill requests - Handles patient requests or needs - Assists vendors - Directs calls to the proper individual
  • Completes the end of day processes - Empties HIPAA container into the destruction bin - Logs off Intergy and out of the computer before leaving
  • Requests paper charts from storage as needed
  • Addresses Intergy tasks in a timely manner
  • Handles calls related to medical record requests
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Maintains an organized and clean work area
  • Directs incoming faxes and mail to correct staff members
  • Oversees inventory of Glytone Products
  • Places phones on and offservice at the appropriate times
  • Participates in maintenance of clinical supplies
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
