Requirements

Currently licensed with Alabama Board of Cosmetology & Barbering as an Esthetician required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide skin care services to patients.
Perform consultations and treatments in compliance with clinic protocols and state regulations.
Monitor patient condition and response; report any problems or adverse reactions to physician.
Operate, clean and maintain equipment.
Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
Educate and demonstrate techniques to minimize swelling and discoloration, masking hair loss, cleaning and care for sensitive skin, and the effective use of make-up.
May answer phones to provide information on services, schedule appointments or conducts follow-up phone client satisfaction surveys.
