About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Aesthetician / Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This unique dual role combines hands-on aesthetic treatments with clinic support. On days you’re not performing aesthetic services, you’ll assist with daily operations, including scheduling, client communication, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a licensed aesthetician who enjoys both the clinical and client care side of the medspa industry.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Licenses/Certifications: California State Aesthetician license (required), Medical Assistant Certification or prior MA experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years as an aesthetician (preferred), 1+ years customer service or sales experience (required), Experience in an aesthetic/medical setting is a plus, Existing clientele is a bonus.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a team, Proficient with email; social media experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client consultations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform treatments such as clinical facials, extractions, medical-grade chemical peels, Hydrafacials.
  • Educate clients on treatment processes, pre- and post-care instructions.
  • Suggest and promote retail products and additional services.
  • Maintain equipment, treatment rooms, and product inventory.
  • Follow treatment protocols and ensure client safety.
  • Build and maintain a strong client base.
  • Stay current with best practices and market trends.
  • Act as a liaison between the front office and providers to ensure smooth client flow.
  • Assist with client preparation and support providers during treatments.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and follow up with leads.
  • Provide professional, high-quality client care and support clinic operations.
  • Attend team training and meetings.
