Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical/Forging Engineering Intern at our Cudahy, WI plant located approximately 5 miles south of Milwaukee. As an intern at ATI Cudahy Operations, you will get to learn from an experienced and knowledgeable group of professionals in a unique environment, gaining priceless experience in the materials science industry.
Requirements
- College Student Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings
Nice To Haves
- Ability to write simple macros and programs is a plus
- Proficiency with Office applications
- Familiarity with CAD and modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Working on safety issues and concerns within the Forge Shop
- Implementing/creating Forge Shop and Die Room improvements
- Assessing inspection methods
- Helping solve Forge Shop Engineering Issues
- Assisting with instructions for various processes not limited to grinding, cleaning and forging process
