About The Position

About the role Picture your day beginning at a clean, organized workstation inside a shop that builds precision aerospace components for turbine engines. You review a print, check your tools, and move seamlessly between operating a press, bending sheet metal, setting up a saw cut, and executing an EDM program. You assemble parts, verify fit and alignment, and finish by inspecting every detail against exact specifications. Requirements

  • Hands-on background with press operations, sheet metal work, saw cutting, and EDM machining.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality in precision machining environments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving on the production floor.
  • Safety-first mindset and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across projects.
  • Ability to read micrometers, gauges and calipers.
  • Operate machinery to cut and shape steel materials.
  • Comfort working around heavy machinery with proper PPE at all times.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during the shift.
  • Keep a clean, organized work area to support safety and quality.
  • Work effectively with others and support a team environment.
  • Work with sheet metal on a production line.
  • Visually check material for defects as it moves through the line.
  • Adapt to variations in tasks based on cross-training.

Responsibilities

  • Run and care for presses to stamp, form, and shape metal parts to tight tolerances.
  • Perform precise sheet metal fabrication—cutting, bending, and finishing to print.
  • Set up and execute saw cutting to prepare materials for downstream operations.
  • Operate EDM machining processes to produce intricate, precision features.
  • Assemble components, ensuring correct fit, alignment, and quality throughout.
  • Inspect completed parts to meet industry and customer specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures.
