About The Position
Are you a precision welder who takes pride in producing flawless work for critical applications? We are seeking a TIG Welder & Plasma Cutter to join our 1st shift team in Oxford, MI.
Requirements
- Welding experience and/or certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to pass a welder vision exam
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of custom aerospace, repair welding experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems
- Multi-process welding capabilities
Responsibilities
- Perform precision TIG welding on aluminum and ferrous metals for aerospace and defense components
- Use plasma cutting equipment to cut and trim metal parts to precise dimensions
- Work to exacting specifications in a NADCAP-accredited facility
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Maintain weld quality standards per AS9100 and customer requirements
- Collaborate with welding, quality, and engineering teams to ensure mission-critical components meet specifications
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
