About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst ensures a continuous and efficient flow of materials required to support production operations. This role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing costs, and maximizing productivity through effective materials requirement planning (MRP). The analyst collaborates closely with purchasing, production, and scheduling teams to ensure timely availability of materials while avoiding shortages or excess inventory. This will be an onsite position at our Grand Prairie, TX facility reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related is required.
  • 1+ year of Purchasing, Material Planning or Supply Chain experience required.
  • ERP system experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily MRP reviews to identify material requirements.
  • Address rejected purchase orders (POs) for quantity or date discrepancies; escalate pricing issues to sourcing.
  • Communicate and resolve missing notes or data in the item master.
  • Identify and address items lacking safety stock.
  • Manage monthly activities for de-expediting, expediting, and canceling POs in coordination with suppliers.
  • Review and act on excess and obsolete material lists monthly.
  • Collaborate with master scheduler and production planners to eliminate material shortages.
  • Take daily action on past-due POs to ensure timely delivery.
  • Adjust activities based on changing MRP requirements and production priorities.
  • Drive expediting efforts to support the Component Shortage List and maintain production continuity.
