Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Quality experience in aerospace metal chip cutting manufacturing facility.
• Must work well with people and be task oriented.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for quality requirements of General Electric hardware.
• Must have experience in eCAV, VSE/SPS, GE yellow pages, GE Purchase Order requirements, and GE DSQR.
• Primary activities included are Contract Review, Manufacturing review, Special Process Review, SPS submittals, Dimension inspection, Certification review on material and special process, Shipment release, DSQR activities, First Article Inspection Report, Interfacing with GE personnel.
• Support Quality dept in AS9100 system activities Internal Audits, Corrective Actions, Continuous Improvement, Performance reports and Metrics.
• Support Quality dept in AS13100 activities - MSA (Gage R&R), PFMEA, PPAP.
