About The Position

Aerospace Production Tech - Precision Components (Fri-Sun 6am - 6:30pm) This job classification uses a broad range of multi-level skills and abilities in the manufacture of products as designated by the Company. Performs a variety of tasks to complete work and/or assist teammates in assigned work area. Duties and responsibilities at any given work assignment may include, but are not limited to any of the following: Obtain correct parts, materials and tools to accomplish assigned task. Use precise measuring instruments, gauges, tools, and related equipment. Ability to run simple machinery such as Pedestal Grinder, Band Saw, Belt Disk Sander, and JIB Crane Help the team become increasingly self-sufficient and participate in improving products, processes, and procedures of all types. Perform other duties as assigned within this job classification or other work when incidental but necessary to accomplish the assignment.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
• An Associate’s degree or 2-year Technical Degree in a relevant discipline may be considered as equivalent to 2 years of experience.
• Must be able to work Weekend Shift 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Friday - Sunday
• Must be willing to work extended hours as needed
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., bend, kneel, squat, stoop, work overhead, reach above shoulder level, sit, stand, walk (sometimes on uneven surfaces).
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, detailed written work instructions, and other printed or graphical instruction.
