Perform hazardous duty as an Aerospace Physiology Specialist inside hypobaric and hyperbaric chambers, exposed to pressure equivalents of 165 feet of sea water (fsw) and 35,000 feet mean sea level (msl). Present formal training lectures to NASA astronauts, aircrew, flight surgeons, and test subjects on the various physiological hazards of flying and diving operations. Perform as medical monitors during pressurized Human in the Loop (HITL) testing events at various NASA facilities, providing support for the Medical Officers by conducting and assisting with basic medical evaluations, test documentation, and emergency treatment as first responder. Additional duties include performing administrative and maintenance tasks and entries into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
