Ascentec Engineering is hiring at our Dallas, Oregon facility! We are looking for a detail-oriented OSP Inspector / Rework Technician to ensure that our precision-machined Aerospace metal components coming back from Outside Service Providers (OSP) meet engineering and quality requirements prior to release into the QC lab. This role is responsible for identifying nonconformances, performing allowable rework to bring parts into compliance, and documenting issues for communication to internal teams and external vendors. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting vendor accountability. Typical OSP Vendor processes to be verified include anodize coatings on aluminum components, chem film coatings on aluminum components, paint coatings, precision cleaning processes, passivation of stainless-steel components, and other similar processes on precision machined metal components. Ascentec Engineering believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. That contribution should not be limited by the assigned responsibilities. Therefore, this position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications, and job scope, but not limit the individual nor the organization to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her/their services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors. This position is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon facility, and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
