About The Position

Immediately Hiring! Your day at a glance It’s 6:00 AM in Grand Prairie, TX. You power up the maintenance console, scan overnight equipment logs, and prioritize a proactive inspection route. By mid-morning, you’ve tuned a hydraulic circuit, swapped a worn sensor on a conveyor line, and collaborated with production to schedule a short downtime window so you can commission a newly installed piece of equipment. Before your 2:30 PM wrap-up, you’ve logged your work, updated PM checklists, and left the shop floor safer and more reliable than you found it. Location: Grand Prairie, TX Shift: Days — 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Starting Pay: $31.05/hour

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Expertise across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Comfort using diagnostic instruments and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and apply technical documents and prints.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication.
  • Flexibility for overtime or alternate hours when needed.
  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel between two plant locations.
  • Proven safe operation of forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC experience desired.
  • Demonstrated urgency and ownership to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Execute routine maintenance and detailed inspections on industrial manufacturing assets.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Coordinate with production to schedule work with minimal disruption to output.
  • Document maintenance actions and communicate equipment condition clearly.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with installation, start-up, and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Drive continuous improvement to boost reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac, safely and efficiently.
  • Apply strong troubleshooting techniques to resolve root causes.
  • Support general facilities maintenance and repairs.
  • Fabricate parts for corrective repairs and equipment upgrades when needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and collaborate effectively with production partners.
  • Follow PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
