The Manufacturing Engineer is a highly motivated, solution-oriented, and customer-driven individual responsible for providing technical support to enhance manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and drive cost savings. The role involves applying Lean manufacturing principles, improving the speed of workflow, and reducing ergonomic risks for employees.

  • Identify, design, and develop tooling and masking aides to enhance ergonomic support and reduce costs.
  • Standardize and document processes to ensure consistency and repeatability of best practices.
  • Research and develop best practice processes and drive continuous improvement of tooling and manufacturing methods.
  • Analyze data to identify and implement opportunities for productivity.
  • Monitor quality outputs and resolve root causes of failures or rework using analytical and statistical methods.
  • Provide overall technical support to processing work centers and operations management.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement cutting-edge technologies for productivity and cost savings.
  • Work with Operations management team to improve throughput, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Promote collaboration across departments to enhance cost savings and implement productivity initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks/CATIA preferred).
  • Experience with CNC machinery and ERP systems (Infor Syteline a plus).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Aerospace or metal/surface finishing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a focus on customer service.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a changing environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Export license required for non-U.S. persons).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
