Aerospace Maintenance Specialist 2nd shift
About The Position
This is an hourly position with Local 475.Rate of pay is $32.31/hr Hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm daily with weekends as needed ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work from sketches, schematics, and simple prints with minimal supervision. Must be able to perform repair jobs such as changing oil in pumps and machine overhauls. Housekeeping and daily checks are necessary Must have working knowledge and experience in the following trades: Plumbing Heating, ventilation and air conditioning Electric power and controls Gas furnace operation, repair and control Carpentry and painting Vacuum Systems Dust Collection Systems Must have knowledge of welding and brazing. Must understand the principle of operations and repairs of heat treat equipment. Forklift experience preferred Must be comfortable operating a scissor lift QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or equivalent required Must be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing) Manufacturing experience preferred MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds Minimum pull – 40 pounds WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment in the production floor environment.
