Role Summary Parker Aerospace's Group Communications team is seeking a motivated, creative Communications Summer Intern to support internal and external communications projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, tradeshow support, brand reputation and a broad overview of working within a global team. You will partner with various communications professionals, key internal stakeholders, external agencies and other team members across the organization. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a solid understanding of grammar and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive communicator with a growth mindset.
  • Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members at all levels and incorporate feedback constructively.
  • Passionate about learning how strategic communications supports business strategy, culture, and brand reputation.
  • Energized by turning complex ideas into clear, compelling stories.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Curiosity about aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, sustainability, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for the intranet, newsletters, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Support creation of graphics, presentations, videos and other content as required.
  • Assist with the social content calendar and post scheduling.
  • Contribute to internal articles on the intranet.
  • Support any site-specific communications.
  • Support the management of event tasks, particularly in the build-up to the Farnborough Air Show, including, content, logistics, and messaging.
  • Ensure compliance with brand, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
