About The Position

Overview We’re hiring elite Assembly & Test Technicians like you to help us build and validate hardware that will define the next era of aviation. This is a Silicon Valley funded advanced manufacturing company focused on aerospace and defense. The team is growing quickly, bringing together specialized manufacturing capabilities to support some of the most demanding programs in the industry. You won’t be buried in a repetitive production line. You’ll be in a dynamic R&D environment, working directly alongside engineers to assemble, test, and validate new hardware on its path to flight qualification. We move fast. We speak directly. Requirements

  • 2+ years (5+ years preferred) of hands-on experience in assembly or testing within an aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environment
  • Highly skilled with mechanical hand tools
  • Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications
  • Experience operating, programming, or setting up automated or semi-automated test equipment
  • Experience building and testing avionics, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or power electronics components
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems
  • Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR requirement)
  • Comfortable working independently and efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • High ownership mindset—you take initiative, stay organized, and pay strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and works exceptionally well on a tight-knit team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating plastic injection molding equipment is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex aerospace components and subsystems from engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications
  • Set up and operate advanced test equipment—including Thermal/Humidity Chambers, Thermal Shock Machines, LDS V850 Shakers, Shock Towers, Salt Fog / Corrosion Chambers, and Instrons
  • Execute critical validation and characterization protocols, including functional tests, EMC tests, hydraulic tests, and shock/vibe testing
  • Work closely with engineering throughout the build and test phases, communicating clearly and responding to feedback quickly
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and tolerances including GD&T
  • Document assembly and test results accurately to support engineering iteration and data acquisition systems
  • Identify and communicate defects, anomalies, or design flaws to engineering promptly—not just flag issues, but help drive solutions
  • Adapt to new products, processes, and test setups with a strong problem-solving mindset
